As creator, you came here to create! To experience your creation and create within it. Many, like myself, get tripped up here. When the years of release and unwinding of the old energy seem unending, you can hardly imagine being a grand creator again. Although you may say "I have never experienced this!", you have! It's natural. It's within you. You created this world. You created your old life. Now you can surely create a new one. When energy feels stagnant, move! Breathe, sing, tone, walk, make art, cook, clean... roll around on the floor if you like! Laugh!!!
You can even lay down and welcome your light through your body. Drink it in, feel it flush your system from head to toe. Feel yourself expand beyond the mind into nothingness and welcome that passion to come forth. If you feel sluggish, do this with vigor. Ask to be shown an idea - and go with it. It may make no sense, but that tells you it's not coming from the mind!
One trip up I've experienced is waiting for some brilliant AHA moment! Arghhh... The funny thing is you've been getting feelings, knowings and ideas all along. It's so often simple things, and it may be big things too. When I felt uninspired and uninterested in much, I commanded my passion forth on a regular basis, refusing to settle for heavy, uninspired days. Sure, I spent many moons feeling the boredom and heaviness, learning not to run from it, but to let it be okay... but at some point you just know it's time to move with it. It's time to move beyond it and let it dissolve as you expand.
I eventually realized I must use all my human capacities to bring my essence forward and be fully in this body. I researched on-line and made a list of things that I might enjoy. I began to visit parks, trails, stores, and other venues nearby. I joined a gym and took classes. I did a bunch of part-time jobs. Each thing along the way, like a scavenger hunt. Not looking for myself any longer, but noticing what I enjoyed. Being certain if I wasn't enjoying myself, to address any judgment or desire to control, for it will ruin any great experience.
The key is not judging the moments where you simply don't feel to create... the days when you need rest, rest. When you really want to sleep, sleep. When you just want to veg out - veg out! But when you feel stagnant - that restlessness, it might just be your passion wanting to burst forth. Notice the old habits of shut down, comfort, hiding, avoiding, numbing, distracting... become familiar with them, enjoy them, and then when you feel ready - thank them & move beyond. It's doesn't need to be one or the other... I find it's more graceful to allow the dance back and forth as the old habits dissolve away.
When you have an enjoyable experience, don't hesitate to acknowledge it out loud! My car is the perfect place for this. Many, many a day, I drove home from wherever, and said "Thank you, that was fun! I really enjoyed today!!! More please! Whoooo Hoooo!" This tells your body, mind, and all your energy that you want more. More experiences, more fun, more energy - more life! It invigorates your body. It calms the parts of you that have felt separate. They can now come home to this beautiful life to integrate. I also do this when I go to bed - counting the day's blessings and acknowledging that my life is perfect and complete in this moment - there is nothing left for the mind to process or troubleshoot, so my body can relax and rejuvenate. If there's something nagging at me - I resolve it and be done with it! Now we close the book and go to sleep. Tomorrow will be fresh and new.
Whatever you are called to create, put your heart into it. Give it your all. Do it with love. Don't worry how it turns out. Don't holdback - that's just the fear... have fun with it all. Don't look back. Keep moving forward. Spend many moments connecting to the silence within, for it is you, Creator. Welcome it into your mind, body, life and world. What a tremendous dance.
Remember, being human is a grand mastery dance. To be in this world with projections of fear and greed - and yet choose to smile and focus on the beauty and enjoying creation. To love yourself and life. Sending much love to you, Cathy
